PROJECTS

Selected projects

Agricultural Technology

Smart Agricultural Machinery Demonstration

We participated in a two-year demonstration of local 5G (L5G) smart agriculture. As a fellow coordinating a consortium of 11 organizations, we liaised among the participating institutions and managed project progress. The project tested labor-saving pest control and mowing using drone spraying alongside a remotely operated and autonomous mobile mover. It also evaluated remote guidance for new farmers and a sharing service for smart agricultural equipment.

Agriculture–Welfare Collaboration

Agriculture–Welfare Initiative

We managed the overall progress of an agriculture–welfare collaboration project run by a regional cooperative using a rural, mountain and fishing village development grant. Our work included the grant application, preparing project income and expense projections and revenue simulations, and coordinating with local welfare facilities to bring the initiative into operation.

Farming and Rural Communities

Rural Discovery Experience Program

Under a rural development grant, we planned training for prospective farmers from urban areas to build sustained ties with farming communities. Across several regions, we delivered farm-work experiences and workshops on challenges facing prospective farmers.

Regional Development

Marketing Regional Specialty Products

We led an entire marketing project for regional specialty products carried out by a regional revitalization council under a program to secure income in hilly and mountainous areas. We interviewed prospective consumers and retailers to understand market needs, developed prototypes, conducted tasting tests, considered packaging, and tested sales in Japan and overseas to assess market potential. We also analyzed the results and prepared the final report.

Farmland and Evaluation

Evaluating the Multiple Functions of Farmland

In a private company’s project evaluating the effects of farm work on physical frailty, we managed project progress. Our work covered cleaning and organizing survey data, tabulating and analyzing the findings, interpreting the results, and preparing a report summarizing the analysis.

Welfare Business Development

A Private Company’s Entry into Welfare Services

For a home-visit nursing provider expanding into new welfare services, we handled planning and application procedures for a business restructuring subsidy. We supported the launch by developing the service program and financial plan, preparing property and staffing requirements, and assisting with administrative procedures.

Medical Corporation Succession

Succession Planning and Coordination

We supported the valuation of a medical corporation, examination of succession structures, and financing negotiations.

Corporate Integration and HR

HR Integration of Eight Sales Subsidiaries

We managed a project addressing HR issues after the integration of eight sales subsidiaries of a private company.

HR and Operational Reform

Redesigning HR Systems and Operations

We managed a private company’s HR and operational reform project, including the introduction of work-support tools.

NIPPON INNOVATION AWARD 2025 Nominee

Opening up future possibilities in a place to be yourself

Creating a new third place through interactive art

Under the theme of “sensibility × technology,” this proposal envisions a place beyond school and home where children who need a place to belong, including those facing school nonattendance or developmental differences, can be themselves. It would offer opportunities to create and experience interactive art while learning digital skills and exploring self-expression.

The proposal also considers using vacant shops in local shopping streets to exhibit the works and create opportunities for community interaction and learning. Agricia Association has supported the development of service programs at employment-support facilities for people with developmental disabilities, covering video editing, game programming, and digital art.

This section describes a competition proposal and nomination. It does not state that the proposed third place has been opened or operated.

COLLABORATION

University and Community Collaboration

Indoor cultivation demonstrations for functional garlic and other crops in collaboration with a private university.

We participated in demonstrations of indoor hydroponic cultivation of functional garlic sprouts and other crops, examining growth and functional properties under different conditions. Agricia Association handled project planning, coordination of indoor cultivation equipment and materials, demonstration operations, and collaboration and project management with university researchers and local stakeholders.
